The River Group Search Process is a proven and successful formula for the staffing of Permanent and Contract positions. Our goal is to always find the best possible candidate no matter what the discipline.

We have found that the most successful searches are based on a partnership between the client organization and our search team. Therefore, we have developed an approach to the search process that ensures true partnership as your trusted advisors, clear communication, and results.

Although no two searches are alike, we have a defined and structured process once your search is under way.

Understanding the client's needs

  • We will understand your business culture, position description and compensation package, benefits and relocation policy

Developing the recruiting plan

  • Establish search targets and identify individuals within these target companies
  • Each individual is contacted and the position is discussed briefly to determine a level of interest
  • Background evaluation determines a fit for the position
  • Request and receive a resume

Create Candidate profile and present resume

  • Resumes are sent with a profile and evaluation comments to the client

Coordinate Interviews

  • We set up and coordinate interviews, prep candidate and client, debrief candidate and client

Close Candidate

  • Salary and compensation package is negotiated by your River Group Associate Recruiter
  • Compensation package is presented to candidate
  • Close candidate and establish start date
  • Provide candidate instructions for resignation
  • Debrief candidate after resignation

Facilitate Transition

  • Establish a start date and maintain contact with job candidate and client company to assure a smooth transition
