Channel Sales Manager
Location: Remote - OH, PA or Northeast
About the job: Company is a top tier provider of industrial air pollution control systems worldwide that grew 50% in 2020 and 2021 and is on track to do the same in 2022. Due to changes in how this company will go to market a new position has been created to take over the existing Manufacturer’s Rep Network in the region and some direct key accounts. This is a rare opportunity to join a company that is on a roll, providing numerous opportunities for advancement.
Job Description:
- You will take immediate ownership of the existing Mfg. Rep. Network in the Northeast United States. You may also have a few direct end user accounts as key accounts as well.
- The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for evaluating the Mfg. Rep network partners and prioritizing support for account strategy, sales growth, upsells and renewals.
- Target industries – Building Materials, Steel, Automotive, Food & Beverage, Plastics Mfg, Chemical Mfg., etc.
- Product/Solutions – Industrial Air Pollution systems. Examples – Air Filters, Bio Filters, Ventilation Systems, Dust Collection, Emission Systems, Baghouses, Scrubbers, Cyclones, Catalytic Reactors, Mist Collectors, Oxidizers, etc.
- Collaborate with Reps to develop and execute account plans based on a strong understanding of customer goals, both business and technical.
- You will collaborate with a world class application engineering team to address customer needs and uncover new opportunities in the region.
- Continually expand the Mfg Rep Network with additions & training,
- Monitor and screen RFQs to ensure viability before submitting for quote generation
- Monitor performance of reps with established metrics to develop a clear direction for actions required to increase overall sales performance
Job Requirements:
- Minimum of 3-4 years of experience selling industrial equipment and services to the target markets above.
- BS degree or equivalent experience
- Must have channel sales experience supporting & developing Mfg. Rep Agencies
- Air Pollution Control Capital Equipment sales background
- Excellent communication skills – written and verbal
- Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.)
Salary: $150,000 - $160,000 "range"
